Programs and Services
BCPC facilitates a wide range of programming dedicated to improving the social, physical, and emotional health and well-being of one of LGBTQ+ Brooklynites.
Delivered by BCPC staff or in collaboration with community partners, our programming includes recurring programs, events, services, and special initiatives- and we are always looking to do more! If you would like to suggest a programming idea, please use the form below.

Arts and Culture
From ballroom practice and book clubs to finger drawing and storytelling, our arts and culture activities build community and connection around creative pursuits and passions.
Mental Health
Our in-house social work team provides culturally-competent, confidential individual psychotherapy for LGBTQ+ individuals, with preference given to folks who qualify for Medicaid and Essentials Plans. We also provide other mental health services like drop-in hours and referrals.

Community Engagement
From resourcing and empowering immigrants to building community around food or faith, our community engagement programs provide access to information, skills, resources, and solidarity.
Immigrant Services
More than a third of LGBTQ+ Brooklynites are immigrants and immigrants are welcomed and represented across our programming, but the programs below, along with other initiatives like our new Immigrant Services Hub, specifically center the distinct needs and priorities of immigrant Brooklynites.

Sports and Fitness
LGBTQ+ people, and particularly TGNC folks, have long had limited access to the incredible benefits of sports and fitness. Our growing roster of offerings, including basketball, swim, tennis, and swing dance, reclaims some of these spaces and building new ones.
Support Groups
BCPC offers a range of support groups including Queers Do Recover NA, SMART Recovery, and groups for TGNC folks, Caribbean immigrants, and LGBTQ+ mental health.

TGNC Services
TGNC folks are welcomed and represented across our programming, but we also prioritize developing programming that centers TGNC needs and priorities, from workforce readiness to sports and fitness.
