You are welcome here.
Located within Major Owens Community Center in Crown Heights, our Pride Center is Brooklyn's premiere hub for LGBTQ+ programming, services, and resources. It is also our headquarters, and home-base as we continue to expand our work across the borough.
More importantly, whether you visit the Pride Center to connect, learn, play, work, or simply be in a space where you can be wholly and authentically yourself- welcome home.
Pride Center Services
Community Programs
As Brooklyn's only LGBTQ+ center, we provide and welcome as many community programs and events as our space and schedule can accommodate, most often free of charge.
Cyber Center
Our Cyber Center features computer stations and sound-proof telework pods, cost-free and open during public hours (M-Th, 12pm-5pm) on a first-come first-serve basis.
Working Hours
The Center is open for working or relaxing Monday - Thursday 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm. However, due to the high volume of structured programming in the evenings, the Center closes to public use at 5pm.
Love Wins Pantry
As part of our commitment to culturally competent food security, BCPC hosts the Love Wins Pantry every third Thursday of the month- open and welcoming to all community members.

Visitor Code of Conduct
Brooklyn Community Pride Center events are safe and affirming spaces for our LGBTQ+ community and allies. Discrimination, harassment, or unsafe behavior will not be tolerated. By attending, you agree to treat everyone with respect, honor consent and boundaries, and help us foster an inclusive community. Violations may result in removal from the event or restriction from participating in future events.
