The Pride Pantry at Brooklyn Community Pride Center offers personal care and hygiene products to members of the LGBTQ+ community who are experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity.

The most frequently sought items include menstruation products, razors and shaving cream, lip balm, and hair care products made for people of color.

We also accept donations of soap and shampoo, dental hygiene products, lotion, sanitizer, sunblock, and any personal care items that you wouldn’t be able to obtain with programs like SNAP (food stamps).

Donations of new clothing items and food is currently limited to packaged socks, underwear, gloves, winter hats and non-perishable/dry food items. We are not accepting donations of other clothing or food at this time.

Welcome Knit the Rainbow, our newest Pride Pantry Partner!

Brooklyn Community Pride Center is partnering with Knit the Rainbow, Inc. to make handmade knit and crochet winter garments available LGBTQ+ youth living in NYC who are experiencing homelessness.

The garments include beanies, gloves, socks, scarves, and ear warmers all made by Knit the Rainbow volunteers.

Knit the Rainbow garments are available for pick-up at Brooklyn Community Pride Center’s Pride Pantry at 1360 Fulton Street, Ground Floor; Brooklyn, NY 11216 (entrance on New York Avenue, between Fulton and Herkimer Streets).
