Pride Pantry
Our Pride Pantry, located at our Bed-Stuy facility (1360 Fulton Street), offers hygiene and other essential items to members of our community facing homelessness and housing insecurity. Please see below for our list of needs or visit our Amazon Wish List.
Our Needs
Urgent/Most Needed:

Shampoo, conditioner, cleansing conditioner/co-wash, leave-in conditioner, curl creme, styling gel, oil treatments, hair masks, hair spray, etc. designed for black and/or textured hair

New/unused underwear and socks
-
New/unused cold weather items (gloves, scarves, hats)

Various make-up products, a gender-affirming necessity for many trans folks. Products for darker skin tones are a priority.

Face wash, micellar water, face lotion, lip balm, body lotion

Cotton rounds, balls, and swabs
-
Deodorant (always the first to go)

First aid supplies (antibiotic ointment, aspirin/ibuprofen/acetaminophen, bandaids)

Facial tissue packs

Shelf-stable microwaveable meals (e.g. Hormel Compleats, Mac & Cheese, instant ramen, rice pouches, soup, etc.)

Granola bars, trail mix, snack packs, cereal, etc

Shelf-stable applesauce/pudding/jello cups

Other shelf-stable ingredients (dried rice, beans, pasta, etc.) are needed, but not nearly as much as ready-to-eat products

Phone chargers are always needed, they're a lifeline for many unhoused folks
Always useful, but less urgent at the moment:

Toothpaste, toothbrushes, floss

Razors and shaving cream

Pads, tampons, or (new/unopened) menstrual cups

Body wash or bar soap

Hair brush/comb

Wet wipes

Hand sanitizer
Before making an in-person donation, please contact us to verify that we can accept your donation and to arrange a drop-off time. Donations should be delivered to our Bed-Stuy location (1360 Fulton Street) during normal hours of operation. We cannot arrange pick-up of your donation.
