Urgent/Most Needed:

• Shampoo, conditioner, cleansing conditioner/co-wash, leave-in conditioner, curl creme, styling gel, oil treatments, hair masks, hair spray, etc. designed for black and/or textured hair

• New/unused underwear and socks

• New/unused cold weather items (gloves, scarves, hats)

• Various make-up products, a gender-affirming necessity for many trans folks. Products for darker skin tones are a priority.

• Face wash, micellar water, face lotion, lip balm, body lotion

• Cotton rounds, balls, and swabs

• Deodorant (always the first to go)

• First aid supplies (antibiotic ointment, aspirin/ibuprofen/acetaminophen, bandaids)

• Facial tissue packs

• Shelf-stable microwaveable meals (e.g. Hormel Compleats, Mac & Cheese, instant ramen, rice pouches, soup, etc.)

• Granola bars, trail mix, snack packs, cereal, etc

• Shelf-stable applesauce/pudding/jello cups

• Other shelf-stable ingredients (dried rice, beans, pasta, etc.) are needed, but not nearly as much as ready-to-eat products

• Phone chargers are always needed, they're a lifeline for many unhoused folks

 

Always useful, but less urgent at the moment:

• Toothpaste, toothbrushes, floss

• Razors and shaving cream

• Pads, tampons, or (new/unopened) menstrual cups

• Body wash or bar soap

• Hair brush/comb

• Wet wipes

• Hand sanitizer
