Calling Authors Filmmakers Performers

Share Your Work

Are you an author, filmmaker or performer looking to share your work with LGBTQ+ Brooklyn?
Brooklyn Community Pride Center is currently booking local presenters to share book readings, film screenings, or small audience performances in our Crown Heights and Bed-Stuy spaces. We are especially interested in hearing from Brooklyn-based LGBTQ+ creators.
To be considered for a reading, screening or performance, please complete the form on this page. We can provide large television monitors (with HDMI hookups), limited sound/microphone systems, and space. We cannot pay for book readings, film screenings or performances at this time. Book signings, Q&A sessions, merchandise sales, and other methods of monetizing a presentation will only be allowed if fully disclosed and approved well in advance of the event. Brooklyn Community Pride Center reserves the right to put such restrictions on monetization efforts as it deems necessary.
Completing this form does not guarantee that your submission will be chosen for our space. A team of staff and volunteers will review all submissions and we will only schedule those that align with our mission, values, expectations of quality, and available time slots. Priority will be given to new works, voices of underrepresented communities, and work deemed likely to draw an audience.
