About our Bed Stuy location:

Officially opened on October 11, 2017 (National Coming Out Day), Brooklyn Community Pride Center’s first long-term location is located at Restoration Plaza in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood.

With two conference/meeting rooms and six offices, the defining feature of this facility is our comfortable drop-in public area where guests can pick up information about the community, read a book or play a game from our library, access free wi-fi or use one of our public computers, or simply hang out with friendly and welcoming people.

As we expand throughout Brooklyn, this space will continue to house our youth services, drop-in vibe, and workforce development programs.

Brooklyn Community Pride Center expects to open our new headquarters within the Armory in early 2021

About our future Crown Heights location:

Located within the newly renovated historical landmark Bedford Union Armory, this state-of-the-art facility will house the management headquarters for Brooklyn Community Pride Center. With a large, flexible community space, we plan to include a communal workspace environment for small LGBTQ+ groups, freelancers, entrepreneurs and the like.

In partnership with Callen-Lorde, the Armory will also be home to Brooklyn’s first dedicated LGBTQ+ mental health clinic. We also plan to collaborate with other non-profit organizations moving into the Armory to offer a variety of sports and fitness activities.
