Join our LIVE Zoom discussion with Priscilla James, a black transgender woman transitioning on death row, hosted by Jako Douglas-Borren of Brooklyn Community Pride Center.

Priscilla James has been on death row for 35 years and recently began receiving treatment to make her gender-conforming transition.
The discussion with cover:
  • Life on death row; facing execution by lethal injection
  • What it was like to receive an actual execution date
  • Life as a transgender woman on death row with all men
  • Redemption and reform while wating to die via state sanctioned murder.
There will be an opportunity for participants to ask questions and engage in dialogue with Priscilla.
