Providing Affirming Care to Sex Workers: An Introduction for healthcare providers.
Let’s talk about sex work with Brooklyn is PrEP’d!
Join us on Thursday, April 22nd at 10 AM via Zoom to hear folks share their experiences as sex workers, and give insight into how they and their community can be better served by healthcare providers, and share ideas for how we can all work to reduce the stigma surrounding sex work.
Sign up via Eventbrite. A Zoom link for this program will be sent out in a separate email a few days before the event. For more information on the event, please contact Natalia Louis via email at email@example.com.
More about Brooklyn is PrEp’d:
Brooklyn is PrEP’d is an AIDS Institute-funded joint PrEP services program between the HEAT clinic at SUNY Downstate Medical Center and the PATH Center at the Brooklyn Hospital Center. Every year we host two PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) events where participants can learn, network, and collaborate to support reducing HIV transmissions in our community through sexual health education and PrEP use.
