“Masculinity” in today’s world is a confusing matter. Like “femininity”, masculinity does not have anything to do with gender identity or expression, but it resides within us all.
During these times of uncertainty, it is important to embrace the “masculine” within — in order to support our own empowerment, our confidence, our relationships with others, our endeavors, and our pursuits.
We cordially invite you to join us for our bi-weekly LGBTQ+ Masculine Discussion Group, facilitated by Mike Ryan! Questions we will explore, among others, include:
How can we best define masculinity?
What does it mean to be “masculine” in today’s culture?
How can we embrace our masculinity ?
What does healthy masculinity vs an unhealthy masculinity look like?
How does masculinity show up in our relationships?
How can we show up for others in a healthy, masculine way?
How can we optimally balance our masculine and feminine energies?
This group is open to anyone who is interested in exploring their masculine dynamic, regardless of their gender identity and expression or sexual orientation — and for those who wish to explore and embrace their masculinity and walk away with their own idea of what it means to embody a healthy masculine energy for themselves. This is a great opportunity to heal a part ourselves that, perhaps, we have been neglecting or misinterpreting.
