International Day Against Transphobia, Homophobia, and Biphobia: Express Yourself
Tuesday, May 17, 2:00pm to 5:30pm
Join us for a spectacular drag show and more in celebration of the International Day Against Transphobia, Homophobia, and Biphobia!
May 17 is International Day Against Transphobia, Homophobia, and Biphobia. The theme for this year is “Our Bodies, Our Lives, Our Rights.” A night to remember with special guest performer, live music, drag line up, raffles and a panel Q&A!
To commemorate this day Diaspora Community Services will be hosting a drag show with a special performance by Desmond is Amazing. The event will also include a panel discussion and educational information session. Our goal is to bring awareness and education to the harms faced by those with diverse sexual orientations, gender identities, and expressions while we celebrate and center those in the community.
