So many of us are going through grief and loss during the coronavirus crisis. Whether you lost a family member, a friend, your job, or are constantly experiencing the hurt that COVID-19 is causing in others.
Brooklyn Community Pride Center in partnership with Visiting Nurse Service of New York, and Griot Circle, is offering this safe space to the LGBTQ+ community, to share their experiences and hear from others who might be going through the same. There is so much power in sharing and the realization that you are not alone.
Feel free to join this session to share, but it is also totally ok if you just want to listen.
The group will be facilitated by Jean Metzker, PhD, who has been with VNSNY Hospice and Palliative Care as Bereavement Counselor for 10 years, doing this work for over 20 years.
For more information or if you have any questions, please email Jean Metzker at
