#BLACKOUT: Black Voices Sharing Black Experiences

Due to the COVID-19 crisis this is an online virtual event. See below to join.

Fridays from 5 to 6 PM

Are you tired of again having to explain why #blacklivesmatter? Do you just need a space to vent about the ongoing injustice faced by black people as witnesses in-person, on the news or via social media?
#BLACKOUT: Black Voices Sharing Black ExperiencesJoin other LGBTQ+ BLACK youth (ages 13 to 21) in:
  • Holding space as a Black community
  • Strengthening your voice as a member of the Black community
  • Building resiliency & beginning healing as a Black community
Sessions will be held each Friday from 5 to 6 PM. They are highly peer-to-peer and will be facilitated by Juan Williams, LCSW. Juan is a Black man and former Director of Youth Services at the Hetrick-Martin Institute. He currently serves as a consultant with Brooklyn Community Pride Center.
