Kirsten Adorian will facilitate a weekly workshop in yoga poses or Asana, common in yoga classes. During the virtual session, we will explore the fundamental aspects of it, try modifications, discuss what parts of the body it typically effects and talk about its intended Somatic effect.
Great for folks new to yoga and with ongoing practices, the class will focus on making Yoga classes less intimidating and more accessible to a variety of bodies. We will begin the class with a short warm up, dive into the pose of the week and end with breath work or a short meditation.
